Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse to patients across assigned units
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and document patient responses accurately
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns to the care team promptly
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and ancillary staff to support coordinated care plans
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers while maintaining patient comfort and safety
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record and follow facility policies

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Georgia (GA) required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or obtainable upon hire
• Previous LPN clinical experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
• Ability to pass background check and workplace health screenings as required by the facility
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care

Education

• LPN diploma, certificate, or equivalent from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Comfortable with patient assessments, vital signs, and reporting changes
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
• Team-oriented mindset with strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
