Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to telemetry patients
Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and act promptly on abnormalities
Administer medications and IV therapies accurately and safely
Perform focused assessments and escalate concerns to the care team
Document patient care thoroughly and efficiently in the electronic health record
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to coordinate care
Respond quickly and effectively to codes and rapid response situations
Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Current RN license in good standing (state license required)
Telemetry experience or comfort with cardiac monitoring
Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Professional communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
Skilled in medication administration and IV therapy basics
Comfortable with electronic health records and accurate charting
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond during urgent situations
Team-oriented mindset and clear patient/family communication
