Family Nurse Practitioner
Location: King City, CA

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality primary care to patients across the lifespan — newborns through geriatrics — following adopted clinical protocols
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions while collaborating with supervising physicians
- Initiate and adjust treatment plans responsibly, consulting physicians as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document care accurately and efficiently in the patient record and maintain timely charting
- Educate patients and families on prevention, treatment plans, medications, and self-care to support long-term health
- Participate in clinic quality improvement, case management, and interprofessional coordination to enhance patient care
Qualifications
- Current California Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner license required
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or current NP certification (ANCC, AANP, PNCB, NCC, or AACN)
- Primary care clinic experience required; comfortable treating patients from newborns to geriatrics
- Current AHA BLS required; AHA ACLS required if working in an inpatient setting
- Strongly preferred bilingual English/Spanish candidates
Education
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (per California Board of Registered Nursing standards)
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with primary care clinical protocols and evidence-based practice
- Strong patient assessment and diagnostic skills across all ages
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Proficiency with clinical documentation and EHR workflows
- Ability to collaborate with supervising physicians and the care team
