Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality transthoracic (TTE), transesophageal (TEE), stress (SE/DSE) and bubble studies for inpatients and outpatients
• Conduct bedside/portable exams for hospitalized patients with professionalism and attention to detail
• Chart accurately and efficiently in EPIC to support excellent patient care and clear documentation
• Apply contrast agents and advanced imaging techniques as indicated to aid diagnostic accuracy
• Manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining accreditation standards and lab quality (IACE guidelines)
• Communicate findings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely patient management
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment (GE, Philips, PACS) and follow infection control protocols
• Provide patient-centered care across adult and pediatric populations when needed, prioritizing safety and comfort

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of echocardiography experience (acute care, adult outpatient, ER experience preferred)
• Certifications required or strongly preferred: CLS, CCI RCS (required), ARDMS RDCS PE (preferred), RDCS Peds (preferred), BLS
• Experience performing bubble studies and familiarity with imaging contrast agents
• Comfortable working in a high-volume accredited lab and meeting required standards
• Proficient with EPIC charting (EPIC/Cupid familiarity a plus)
• Ability to perform portable/bedside exams and manage time effectively in busy settings

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in TTE, TEE, SE/DSE and bubble studies
• Proficient with M-Mode, 3-D echo, diastology, RVIT/RVOT assessments and imaging with contrast agents
• Familiarity with GE and Philips systems, and PACS workflows
• Strong time management and organizational skills for high-volume labs
• Comfortable with pediatric echo, TAVR and Watchman pathology exposure
• Skilled in portable/bedside scanning and working across inpatient and outpatient settings
