Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams of all body parts for accurate interpretation
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment, set up and run automatic injectors, and adjust contrast levels by age group
• Maintain radiation safety and follow department quality assurance programs and daily/weekly QC
• Assist with interventional procedures, sterile technique, and venipuncture as needed
• Transfer and care for patients across the lifespan with professionalism and compassion
• Maintain patient records, ensure teleradiology transmission competency, and consult with referring physicians
• Rotate shifts, participate in on-call coverage, and be prepared to report promptly when needed
• Assist with supply inventory, ordering, and other ancillary duties to keep the department running smoothly

Qualifications

• Current ARRT in Radiography (required)
• Clinical competency to be achieved within 3 months of hire and maintained every three years
• Able to perform all diagnostic exams related to assigned modality (CT and X-ray focus)
• Willingness to rotate shifts and take on-call responsibilities with timely reporting
• Comfortable learning and working in multiple imaging modalities as needed (XR, MRI, CT, Mammography)
• Experience assisting with interventional procedures and working in sterile environments is a plus

• Current ARRT in Radiography

• Radiography and CT imaging skills
• Radiation protection and safety practices
• Contrast administration and automatic injector operation
• Teleradiology transmission and digital imaging workflows
• Clinical competency in diagnostic imaging and quality assurance
• Patient transfer, care, and age-appropriate imaging techniques
• Ability to assist with interventional procedures and maintain sterile technique
• Inventory management and basic supply ordering
