Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living
Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support nursing staff with timely, clear communication about patient needs
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Assist with patient transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote comfort and safety
Document care activities thoroughly and respectfully in patient records

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
Active CNA authorization or ability to work in California
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing hands-on patient care
Strong communication skills, empathy, and reliability
Previous experience in long-term care, acute care, or similar settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational nursing care and patient assistance
Taking and interpreting vital signs
Safe patient handling and mobility assistance
Infection control and basic wound care awareness
Clear documentation and teamwork in a clinical setting
Respectful, patient-centered communication
