Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care including activities of daily living
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility safely and respectfully
- Take and report vital signs and changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to prevent injury
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
- Build trusting relationships with patients and their families to promote comfort
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Valid state-required licenses and certifications for CNAs
- Ability to pass standard health screenings and background checks
- Reliable, patient-focused attitude with strong teamwork skills
Education
- Completion of an approved CNA program
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic clinical skills: vital signs, patient hygiene, safe transfers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
- Ability to follow care plans and accurately document care provided
