Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the care team
Support safe transfers and mobility to promote independence
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients
Document care provided promptly and communicate clearly with nurses and families
Be an engaged team member, helping to create a positive experience for every patient

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (California) required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Comfortable assisting with personal care and physical tasks
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Previous CNA experience preferred but dedicated new graduates may be considered

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and valid CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental nursing assistant skills and best practices in patient care
Knowledge of infection control and basic safety protocols
Skill at observing and reporting changes in patient condition
Ability to document care clearly and accurately
Teamwork and collaboration with nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams
Compassionate bedside manner and respect for patient dignity
