Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, respectful care to patients and residents
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
Document care activities clearly in the patient record
Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in California
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Comfortable working a 12-hour day shift and able to stand, lift, and assist patients as needed
Ability to pass a background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Reliable transportation for per-diem assignments

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing care and patient safety practices
Taking and recording vital signs and observing patient condition
Assisting with ADLs and safe patient handling
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
Basic charting and familiarity with electronic health records
Time management and ability to prioritize tasks during a busy shift
