Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing)
Assist residents with mobility, transfers and safe positioning
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents
Support individualized care plans and document care accurately
Communicate respectfully with residents, families and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — Pennsylvania preferred
Current basic health requirements (immunizations, TB screening) and ability to pass background check
Comfortable assisting with personal care and working as part of a team
Reliable, compassionate and patient-centered mindset; prior long-term care experience a plus
Basic documentation skills and the ability to follow care plans

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and resident engagement skills
Knowledge of infection control and safe transfer techniques
Clear communication and teamwork
Ability to observe, document and report clinical changes
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
