Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and compassion
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff promptly
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Provide attentive personal care and monitor resident comfort and needs throughout the shift
- Document care activities clearly and timely in resident charts or electronic records
- Observe and report behavioral or health changes to licensed nurses to ensure quick intervention
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures at all times
- Collaborate with the care team to create a respectful, person-centered experience for each resident
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification (state-certified; ability to work in Pennsylvania) required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude
- Previous long-term care or assisted living experience is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current CNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and basic clinical skills
- Accurate vital signs measurement and documentation
- Infection control practices and safe handling of linens/supplies
- Effective, compassionate communication with residents and families
- Teamwork and the ability to take direction from nursing staff
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
