Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support safe mobility and transfers while promoting independence
Document care and observations clearly and professionally in patient records
Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, and family members to coordinate great care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Participate in team huddles and contribute to positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required) — must be valid in Pennsylvania
CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain upon hire
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient care
Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus, but enthusiastic new CNAs are welcome

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient-centered care and best practices for ADLs
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control procedures and safety standards
Clear, respectful communication with residents and care teams
Basic charting and electronic health record familiarity
