Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Support safe patient transfers, ambulation, and mobility assistance
• Maintain clean, comfortable patient environments and follow infection control procedures
• Document care activities in the patient record clearly and promptly
• Communicate effectively with nurses and the care team to deliver coordinated care
• Observe patients for changes in condition and escalate concerns to clinical staff

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant)
• Valid state authorization to practice as a CNA in California
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
• Positive patient-care attitude, dependable, and a strong team player
• Previous experience in long-term care, acute care, or similar settings is a plus

Education

• CNA certificate or state-approved nursing assistant program completion
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient care basics and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Understanding of infection control and safe patient handling
• Comfortable with basic documentation and following care plans
• Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication with patients and staff
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
