Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift; exact start/end times and days to be confirmed with the facility (schedule to be discussed during hiring)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living
Support safe transfers and mobility, promoting independence whenever possible
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
Accurately document care, observations and vital signs in resident charts
Help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents
Work collaboratively with nurses and therapy staff to implement care plans
Follow infection control protocols and facility safety policies at all times

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing (Pennsylvania certification preferred)
Completion of an approved CNA training program
Comfortable with resident lifting/transfers and hands-on personal care
Willingness to complete facility onboarding requirements (background check, immunizations)
BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of a state-approved CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient-centered care and bedside manners
Basic knowledge of vital signs and infection control practices
Ability to document clearly and follow care plans
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
