Location: Orwigsburg, PA

Start Date: 03-31-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts; exact start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed with the facility

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting while respecting patient dignity
Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff promptly
Support safe mobility and assist with transfers and ambulation as directed
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care and observations
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver consistent, person-centered care
Adhere to infection control practices and facility safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active authorization to work in Pennsylvania (facility located in PA)
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-focused care
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Completion of an accredited CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care techniques
Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
Basic infection control and safety practices
Good documentation habits and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset
