Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor resident condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Assist with transfers, positioning, and safe mobility techniques
Perform basic clinical tasks like taking vitals and documenting care accurately
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
Build trusting relationships with residents and support their emotional needs
Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care plans

Qualifications

Current state CNA certification (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable assisting with transfers and ADLs in a long-term care setting
Clear background check and up-to-date vaccinations as required
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Previous long-term care experience preferred but new grads welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
State-approved CNA program completion and certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control best practices
Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition
Familiarity with electronic or paper charting for documentation
Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate bedside manner
Basic mobility and safe transfer techniques
