Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients with dignity
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and mobility
- Perform routine vital signs and report changes promptly to nursing staff
- Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics
- Document care accurately and communicate clearly during shift handoffs
- Help create a comfortable, clean environment and respond to patient needs quickly
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification in the applicable state (required)
- Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads with strong skills are welcome
- Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Reliable, patient-focused, with good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- CNA certification (required)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient-centered care and respectful bedside manner
- Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, safe transfers
- Accurate documentation and clear shift-to-shift communication
- Infection control practices and adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care setting
