Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
Provide safe and compassionate bedside care during overnight hours
Take and record vital signs and report any concerning changes to nursing staff
Support resident mobility and fall prevention efforts
Maintain clean, safe, and dignified living spaces for residents
Communicate clearly with the care team and participate in shift handoffs
Document care accurately and timely according to facility standards

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — Pennsylvania required
Comfortable and experienced working overnight shifts
Background check and required health screenings up to date
Reliable transportation to the Gettysburg Center
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Practical knowledge of ADLs, safety, and resident dignity
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Infection control and proper PPE usage
Basic documentation and charting skills
Compassion, patience, and strong observational skills
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and escalate concerns appropriately
