Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per Diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Day)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Assist with mobility, safe transfers, and fall prevention to keep residents safe
Take and accurately record vital signs and share changes with the nursing team
Support meal assistance and monitor nutritional needs
Document resident observations and interventions clearly and timely
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
Communicate with residents and families with empathy and professionalism
Collaborate with nurses and care team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
Active BLS/CPR certification preferred
Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
Infection prevention and safe handling procedures
Safe resident transfer and ambulation techniques
Clear, timely charting and communication with nursing staff
Empathy, patience, and excellent teamwork skills
