Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
• Provide compassionate direct care while observing and reporting changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver personalized, dignified care
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate effectively during shift handoffs
• Create a welcoming environment that promotes comfort, respect, and patient dignity

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable with direct patient care and physical tasks involved in bedside assistance
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to pass standard background and health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with basic infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to measure and record vital signs accurately
• Skilled in safe patient handling and mobility assistance
• Good observational skills to notice changes in patient condition
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
