Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and mobility support
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices to prevent injury
Maintain accurate documentation of care and patient interactions
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Contribute to a positive, clean and safe environment for patients and coworkers

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — state certification required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings or immunizations
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Reliable, punctual and able to work the assigned shift lengths

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care procedures
Basic vital signs collection and reporting
Safe patient handling and mobility assistance
Good documentation practices and attention to detail
Teamwork, time management and patient-centered communication
