Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
• Assist patients safely with transfers and mobility to promote independence
• Monitor and document patient condition, reporting changes promptly to the nursing team
• Support rehabilitation activities and follow therapy plans as directed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comforting environment for patients and families
• Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Demonstrated patient-centered attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the role (assisting with transfers, standing for shifts)
• Previous long-term care or rehab experience a plus, but enthusiastic caregivers are encouraged to apply

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and safety protocols
• Skilled in patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Accurate and timely documentation practices
• Infection control and universal precautions
• Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration
