Roles & Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for cardiology visits with compassion and attention to detail
• Triage patient calls, assess urgency, and coordinate appropriate next steps
• Process prescription refill requests and manage medication-related communications
• Obtain and coordinate prior authorizations for procedures and medications
• Travel between Portsmouth, NH and York, ME offices and ensure seamless patient continuity
• Collaborate with cardiologists and the care team to support patient-centered care plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow-up instructions in the EHR

Qualifications

• Active RN license (compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with patient rooming, triage, medication refills, and prior authorizations preferred
• Comfortable traveling between offices (Portsmouth, NH and York, ME)
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of outpatient cardiology clinic workflows and terminology
• Skill in patient assessment and clinical triage
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Ability to navigate prior authorization processes and insurance-related tasks
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interactions and team collaboration
