Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs accurately to support clinical decisions
• Observe and report changes in skin integrity and overall condition to nursing staff
• Safely transfer and reposition residents to ensure comfort and prevent injury
• Respond promptly to resident calls and provide compassionate, respectful care
• Maintain cleanliness in resident care areas, change linens, and restock supplies
• Collaborate with nurses and providers by collecting and communicating resident information

Qualifications

• Current California License as a Certified Nursing Assistant (required)
• Current CPR certification (required)
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in English — reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending
• Comfort working nights and performing physically safe resident transfers
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining compassion and professionalism

Education

• Current California Certified Nursing Assistant license
• Current CPR certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and resident care routines
• Skilled in taking vital signs and documenting observations
• Experience with patient transfer, turning, and repositioning techniques
• Knowledgeable in skin integrity monitoring and early identification of issues
• Strong interpersonal skills to relate well with residents, families, and staff
• Reliable supply restocking and maintaining a clean care environment
