Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day shift, 4x10) with mandatory on-call M-F and scheduled weekend call (3 weekends every 6 weeks); floating across lab specialties as needed
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with a broad range of cath lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional cardiology, VTE thrombectomy and interventional neuro cases
- Place EKG leads and provide continuous, accurate patient monitoring throughout procedures
- Set up, operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment; ensure supplies are stocked and ready
- Prep vascular access sites and maintain strict sterile technique as scrub or room circulator
- Support complex procedures such as TAVR, TMVR, Watchman and MitraClip when indicated
- Respond to STEMI and stroke activations as part of a receiving center team
- Float across specialties within the lab to provide flexible coverage and broaden your skills
- Document care accurately in Epic and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year acute care Cath Lab experience (required)
- Hard stop: Stroke or Interventional Radiology experience required/strongly preferred
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Required credential: ARRT (RCIS accepted in lieu of ARRT Advanced) and Fluoro Permit
- Valid state license for practice in California (pending licenses not accepted)
- Community hospital experience preferred and noted as required by facility
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation including M-F and weekend coverage
- Ability to float between lab specialties and adapt to variable start times
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in Cath Lab procedures, room circulator and scrub responsibilities
- Skilled at EKG lead placement, hemodynamic monitoring and accurate patient monitoring
- Comfortable with equipment setup, sterile field maintenance and prepping access sites
- Experience with advanced devices/procedures: Impella, ECMO, TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, MitraClip (preferred)
- Familiarity with neurointerventional procedures including thrombectomy and carotid stenting
- Ability to work within Epic for documentation and interdisciplinary coordination
- Strong critical thinking, situational awareness and team communication skills
