Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts
• Perform thorough assessments and timely documentation to ensure continuity of care
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with facility policy
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Participate in shift handoffs and maintain accurate, clear charts

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (RN or LPN)
• Active, unrestricted nursing license to practice in New Mexico
• Per diem availability for night shifts and flexibility to work as needed
• Professional communication skills and the ability to work well on a team
• Prior clinical experience preferred but new grads with strong skills may be considered

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma/ASN/BSN as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and basic clinical procedures
• Clear, accurate documentation and charting habits
• Ability to manage time and priorities during busy night shifts
• Collaborative approach to working with nursing and support staff
