Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and maintain patient safety
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocol
- Perform thorough assessments and communicate findings clearly
- Document care accurately and timely in the patient record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support care plans
- Educate patients and families to promote recovery and wellbeing
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Ability to work per-diem shifts, including 12.5-hour day shifts
- Valid clinical skills relevant to LPN or RN practice
- Strong communication and teamwork mindset
- Current immunizations and required facility screenings as applicable
Education
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program for LPN
- Completion of an accredited nursing program for RN
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and monitoring
- Medication administration and documentation
- Basic clinical procedures and infection control
- Clear, compassionate patient and team communication
- Time management and clinical prioritization
