Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the facility
- Perform thorough assessments and document clinical findings accurately
- Administer medications and treatments safely while following facility policy
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and follow care plans
- Communicate clearly with patients and families about care, progress, and needs
- Prioritize patient safety and escalate changes in condition promptly
- Maintain accurate, timely charting in the electronic health record
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (applicable to your role) — New Mexico licensure preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent
- At least some recent clinical experience in a similar setting is preferred
- Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts as a per diem clinician
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered mindset
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma/Certificate, ADN or BSN for RNs)
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and monitoring skills
- Medication administration and documentation accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Comfortable working with electronic health records and documentation systems
- Teamwork, clear communication, and patient advocacy
