Shift Type: Per diem (as scheduled), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support safe mobility and transfers while using proper body mechanics
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report observations to nursing staff
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care that preserves dignity and independence
- Document care accurately and timely in assigned records
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident care plans
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (required)
- Completion of a state-approved GNA training program or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred
- Comfortable working in a long-term care or geriatric setting with empathy and patience
- Ability to pass required background checks and any facility screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a state-approved GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with ADLs and resident assistance
- Basic vital signs and observation skills
- Familiarity with infection prevention and safety procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
- Team-oriented mindset and reliability
