Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Day shift (12.5-hour shift with 30-minute meal break)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to patients, monitoring condition and responding to changes
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and follow patient care plans
- Perform assessments and report findings to the care team in a timely manner
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation while following facility policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in New Mexico (appropriate license required for role)
- Valid BLS/CPR certification; ACLS or PALS as applicable or preferred
- Clinical experience in inpatient care preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills considered depending on unit needs
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program or an accredited RN program (ADN/BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and monitoring
- Medication administration and documentation
- Basic wound care and IV/line awareness as applicable to role
- Charting in electronic health records and timely documentation
- Team collaboration and clear handoff communication
- Prioritization and critical thinking during busy shifts
