Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to geriatric residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly and accurately
- Support safe mobility and fall prevention measures while encouraging resident independence
- Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident environments with attention to infection control
- Document care activities and resident interactions clearly and professionally
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care plans
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) required
- Previous experience working with older adults or in long-term care preferred
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to resident dignity and safety
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited Geriatric Nursing Assistant training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in resident personal care and assistance with ADLs
- Knowledge of infection control and basic safety procedures
- Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
- Good observational skills to notice changes in resident status
- Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and support staff
- Compassionate bedside manner and patience with memory-impaired residents
