Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care to geriatric residents with dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report significant changes to nursing staff
- Support mobility and safe transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Document resident care and observations clearly in the chart or EMR
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to promote continuity of care
Qualifications
- Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in good standing
- Experience working in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Able to pass facility background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate demeanor
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work overnight shifts safely
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and dignity-centered care
- Skilled in safe transfer techniques and fall prevention
- Familiarity with infection control practices and PPE use
- Accurate vital sign measurement and documentation
- Basic charting/EMR comfort and timely communication of changes
- Team-oriented with strong observational skills and attention to detail
