Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care to older adults every shift
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
- Monitor and document vital signs, resident status, and care activities accurately
- Communicate changes in condition promptly to nurses and the care team
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful interaction
Qualifications
- Valid GNA certification or equivalent (required)
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification recommended
- Ability to work night shifts and flexible per diem schedules
- Clear background check and drug screen as required by facility
- Up-to-date immunizations as required by employer
- Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and elder needs
- Skilled in ADLs, safe resident transfers, and fall prevention
- Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
- Infection control and hand hygiene best practices
- Comfortable with electronic and paper charting
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
- Collaborative approach when working with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
