Shift Type: Monday-Friday, day shift (specific start/end times vary; no weekends; no on-call)
Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to create personalized care plans
- Develop and implement meaningful treatment plans that help patients regain independence
- Lead therapeutic activities that build real-world skills for daily living and working
- Recommend and train patients on assistive devices to improve safety and function
- Adapt home and facility environments to support patient independence and reduce risk
- Educate patients and families to empower ongoing recovery and well-being
- Document clinical progress accurately in the EMR (NetHealth) and communicate with the care team
- Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience (required)
- Active Texas license or compact license (required) — documentation required at submission
- Comfortable using NetHealth EMR (experience preferred)
- Experience working in senior living or skilled nursing is a strong plus
- Ability to wear black scrubs as the facility dress code
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to care
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and individualized treatment planning
- Therapeutic activities and functional training
- Assistive device recommendation and training
- Environmental adaptation to enhance safety and independence
- Patient and family education with clear, compassionate communication
- Familiarity with NetHealth EMR workflow and documentation best practices
- Ability to work with a census of mixed acuity (facility currently low 60s)
