Location: West Branch, Michigan

Start Date: 06-01-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (40 Hour Guarantee, No Weekends, No On-Call)

Hours per Week: 45

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' functional abilities through formal and informal testing measures
Develop and implement goal-specific treatment plans
Submit written treatment plans and updates to physicians
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and progress
Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants, Home Health Aides, and students

Qualifications

Active Michigan Occupational Therapist License
Occupational Therapy experience required
Current American Heart Association BLS certification
Skills checklist current to 1 year, pertinent to Occupational Therapy
2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years

Education

Occupational Therapy degree

Knowledge & Skills

Assessment and evaluation techniques
Treatment plan development and implementation
Communication and education skills
Supervision and leadership skills
Occupational therapy standards and policies
