Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Day shift (12-hour shifts), minimal call; Per contract staffing (24/7 coverage) with weekend/holiday rotation

Candidate Pay Rate: $82 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging for inpatient, outpatient and emergent/ED patients with a focus on trauma care
- Operate and troubleshoot GE CT scanners and follow department protocols for procedures and safety
- Accurately document exams in Epic and manage images/reviews through McKesson PACS
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, RN staff and tech leads to ensure timely patient care
- Maintain radiation safety practices and follow facility requirements regarding radiation badge possession
- Prepare patients for procedures, assist with positioning and, when appropriate, perform IV starts (preferred but not required)
- Support procedural CT cases and ensure proper documentation, contrast administration protocols, and post-procedure monitoring
- Participate in orientation and mentorship to support new staff and maintain a high-performing team
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) required; ARRT-CT preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Radiation badge required (traveler responsibility — facility will not provide)
- Minimum 2 years of CT/radiologic experience with experience working with trauma patients (Level II trauma facility)
- Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts, weekend rotation and holiday coverage per contract
- Experience with Epic charting and McKesson PACS strongly preferred
- IV start skills preferred but not required
Education
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent
- ARRT certification required (CT credential preferred)
- BLS certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of computed tomography imaging and trauma imaging protocols
- Hands-on experience with GE CT scanners and departmental workflow
- Proficiency with Epic EMR and McKesson PACS for accurate charting and image management
- Understanding of radiation safety principles and scanner QA
- Excellent communication, teamwork and patient-centered care skills
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced acute/ED environment
