Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care on Med-Surg and Emergency units during night shifts
• Assist nursing staff with activities of daily living, vital signs, and basic clinical tasks
• Support emergency department needs with calm, efficient assistance during critical moments
• Accurately document patient status and communicate changes to the nursing team
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient environment throughout the shift
• Collaborate effectively during handoffs to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Colorado CNA certification (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Experience in Med-Surg or Emergency Department preferred
• Comfort working night shifts and adapting to a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to share provided housing if needed (no pets, non-smoking)

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Current CNA certification (Colorado)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong observational skills and basic clinical competency
• Accurate vital signs measurement and documentation
• Clear communication and teamwork during shift handoffs
• Time management and prioritization in urgent situations
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy
