Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and produce clear, actionable treatment plans
- Deliver individual and group therapy using evidence-based interventions
- Provide crisis intervention and ensure client safety in urgent situations
- Collaborate with custody staff and an interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care
- Document clinical encounters accurately and timely in the medical record
- Participate in case conferences, treatment reviews, and quality improvement efforts
- Advocate for patients' behavioral health needs while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Current PSYL or LCSW credential required; LMFT or LPCC also accepted
- Active professional license in good standing (no disciplinary restrictions)
- Experience working in mental health settings; correctional or forensic experience is a strong plus
- Demonstrated skills in assessment, crisis management, and clinical documentation
- Ability to pass required background checks and comply with facility clearance procedures
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for complex behavioral health needs
- Individual and group therapy techniques and evidence-based practices
- Crisis intervention, de-escalation, and suicide prevention skills
- Thorough clinical documentation and familiarity with electronic health records
- Strong communication and collaborative skills for interdisciplinary teamwork
- Cultural competence and trauma-informed care approaches
- Understanding of correctional environment dynamics and safety protocols
