Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality plain film X-ray examinations and entry-level CT support as needed
• Position patients accurately and apply radiation safety practices to protect patients and staff
• Operate radiography and CT equipment and manage image acquisition for diagnostic clarity
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and the clinical team to ensure timely, patient-centered care
• Complete required competency checklists and specialty exams to maintain clinical privileges
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and assist with infection control and screening protocols

Qualifications

• ARRT (Radiography) certification required
• California State Radiologic Technologist License (RT(R)) required
• Minimum ~1 year experience post-graduation (entry-level candidates with required licensure considered)
• BLS certification required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Ability to perform plain film X-rays; CT experience is preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of radiography and plain film X-ray technique
• Basic computed tomography (CT) knowledge preferred
• Patient positioning and safe handling practices
• Radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Familiarity with PACS/image management and basic equipment troubleshooting
• Clear communication skills and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
