Shift Type: Primarily Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Evening shift), with rotating weekends and night rotations as needed; overnight/weekend on-call approximately 2-3 times per week (rotating/overnight coverage)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies using established protocols to support accurate diagnoses
• Operate and maintain CT equipment with strict adherence to radiation safety and infection control
• Document procedures, findings and patient information accurately in EPIC
• Provide compassionate patient care—prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety
• Participate in on-call and overnight rotations as assigned to support continuous patient care
• Complete required Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist to demonstrate clinical competency
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and the care team to optimize imaging workflow and patient outcomes

Qualifications

• BLS certification (required)
• EPIC experience (required) — comfortable documenting and retrieving patient data in EPIC
• DCI/BVP certification listed as required
• Prior CT technologist experience preferred; proven competency with CT procedures
• Ability to complete Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist
• Willingness to meet health and screening requirements (drug screen, TB testing, immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hep B, influenza) and fit testing

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and patient positioning
• Familiarity with radiation safety practices and ALARA principles
• Proficient EPIC documentation and clinical workflow integration
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
• Ability to function well on a rotating schedule and handle on-call responsibilities
• Teamwork mindset and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
