Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians by scrubbing procedures and providing direct procedural support in the cardiac cath and interventional radiology environment
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to ensure patient safety
• Prepare and maintain the procedure room so every case runs smoothly and efficiently
• Manage inventory and supplies, monitoring par levels to ensure necessary equipment is available
• Participate in departmental meetings, performance improvement initiatives, and training of new staff to help the team grow
• Assist with both invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures, contributing to excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and use electronic systems with confidence

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification and state licensure as required
• BCLS (AHA)/BLS required upon hire and must be maintained
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire
• VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) credential preferred
• Previous experience in an Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab preferred
• Proficient computer skills and comfort with electronic documentation
• Ability to pass required health screenings, drug testing, and license verification

Education

• ARRT-R certification and state licensure as required

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with interventional and cath lab radiology workflows and instrumentation
• Skilled at scrubbing procedures and maintaining sterile technique
• Ability to monitor and interpret physiologic and hemodynamic data
• Procedure room setup and turnover expertise
• Inventory and supply management experience
• Familiarity with DCI/BVP equipment and related certifications
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
