Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging with accuracy and confidence
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain steps clearly, and ensure patient comfort and safety
• Follow established imaging protocols and assist radiologists with imaging needs
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain accurate patient records and document exams in the required systems
• Participate in competency testing and specialty exams to maintain clinical excellence

Qualifications

• BLS certification (required)
• DCI/BVP certification (required)
• License/Certificate Verification as required by the facility
• Completion of required facility onboarding items including Prime Core Competencies, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam
• Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings per facility policy (COVID-19, MMR, TB testing, Hepatitis B, influenza, varicella, Tdap, etc.)
• Professional, patient-focused attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related imaging field preferred
• Completion of an accredited CT program or equivalent clinical experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven experience and comfort working with CT imaging procedures and protocols
• Strong patient care skills and ability to position patients safely and compassionately
• Familiarity with imaging safety practices and radiation protection
• Competency with facility-required exams and documentation processes
• Ability to work independently on assigned shifts and collaborate effectively with radiology teams
