Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients promptly and thoroughly using the nursing process to guide care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and evaluate outcomes
- Provide skilled, hands-on critical care in the ICU, including hemodynamic monitoring
- Respond rapidly and accurately to changes in patient condition and treatment response
- Communicate clearly with physicians and the interdisciplinary team about clinical changes and diagnostic results
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and discharge planning
- Maintain patient privacy, accurate documentation, and uphold standards of care
- Mentor and collaborate with other nursing personnel to ensure high-quality care
Qualifications
- Current, valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital with critical care/ICU experience
- Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross) required
- Current ACLS (AHA or Red Cross) required
- Certifications: NIHSS and DCI/BVP listed as required/preferred
- Active profile/verification via Nursys as part of onboarding
- Completion of required facility screenings: drug screen, TB testing, immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Influenza), fit test, and physical/health statement
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and prioritization in high-acuity settings
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and interpreting diagnostic data
- Skilled in acute care nursing interventions and critical care protocols
- Clear, concise communication with physicians, families, and the care team
- Medication administration, safety practices, and accurate documentation
- Patient/family education and care coordination skills
- Ability to remain calm, decisive, and efficient during emergencies
