Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, timely emergency patient care on night shifts
• Perform rapid patient assessments and initiate appropriate interventions
• Administer BLS interventions and follow DCI/BVP protocols as required
• Document patient encounters accurately in the required systems
• Collaborate with fellow clinicians and facility staff to ensure smooth handoffs
• Maintain readiness by completing required competency exams and skills checklists

Qualifications

• Current EMT certification (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• DCI/BVP certification (required)
• License/certificate verification as listed by employer
• Ability to pass required health screenings and immunizations (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, TB testing or chest X-ray)
• Successful completion of drug screening (minimum 10-panel), fit test, and any required competency exams

Education

• EMT certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and airway/CPR skills
• Comfort managing emergency and trauma situations
• Clear verbal and written communication for accurate documentation
• Ability to follow protocols and work as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Familiarity with Prime Core Competencies, skills checklists, and specialty exams
