Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement and evaluate for telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to changes in clinical condition
• Communicate clear updates to physicians about diagnostic results and patient status
• Teach and support patients and families to improve outcomes and understanding
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain standards of care on the Telemetry unit
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in EPIC EMR

Qualifications

• Current, valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience (preferred)
• Ventilator management experience preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination as part of facility health requirements
• Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records
• Basic and advanced life support procedures (BLS/ACLS)
• Ventilator management fundamentals (preferred)
• Clear, professional communication with interdisciplinary teams
