Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support departmental operations to keep patient care flowing smoothly
- Collaborate with clinical and support teams to ensure efficient resource use
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and billing
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and questions
- Support compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance patient experience
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (as stated in the posting)
- Valid state licensure or certification in your allied discipline, or eligibility for Florida licensure
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or the ability to obtain it promptly
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to pass required background checks and onboarding requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certificate or associate degree in allied health preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with hospital operations and allied health workflows
- Comfort with electronic medical records and documentation systems
- Basic understanding of billing, coding, or cost-center processes
- Problem solving and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment
- Professional, patient-centered communication style
