Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care and support for activities of daily living
- Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility while preserving dignity
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the care team
- Support infection control practices and follow facility safety protocols
- Complete timely and accurate documentation and charting
- Collaborate with nurses and allied staff to deliver excellent patient-centered care
- Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and ongoing skill validation
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Successful License/Certificate verification as part of onboarding
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
- Must meet health and screening requirements including fit test, 2-step PPD or IGRA, required immunizations (Influenza, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19), Trinity 10 panel drug screen, physical/health statement, respirator evaluation, and color vision check
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care skills and comfort assisting with ADLs
- Good observational skills and the ability to communicate changes to the team
- Familiarity with basic clinical documentation and vital sign monitoring
- Knowledge of standard infection prevention and control practices
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment and adapt to per diem scheduling
