Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting
- Complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and apply it to daily practice
- Maintain and verify licenses and certifications as required by the facility
- Participate in required health screenings and immunization compliance
- Perform and document respirator fit testing and other safety checks
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support quality care and positive outcomes
- Accurately document clinical care, assessments, and any changes in resident condition
Qualifications
- BLS certification required
- License/Certificate Verification required prior to start (facility will verify credentials)
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing as part of onboarding
- Current health clearances: fit test, TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA), required immunizations or medical exemptions
- Experience in long-term care or similar clinical setting is a plus
- Comfort with facility-specific screening and testing processes (Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen, respirator evaluation, color vision checks)
Education
- Nursing education or equivalent clinical training appropriate for the licensed role (ADN/BSN or relevant diploma preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Familiarity with infection control practices and immunization requirements
- Ability to complete and apply Trinity specialty competency testing
- Experience with respirator fit testing and basic occupational health screenings
- Good communication and teamwork skills in a resident-focused environment
- Attention to detail for license verification and credential maintenance
