X-ray Tech (Radiology Technologist) - Travel

Location: Silverdale, Washington

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable 10- or 12-hour shifts, days or nights, includes weekends and holidays as assigned. Schedule posted 2 weeks in advance.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and OR imaging exams
Cover ED, portables, and outpatient areas with precision and care
Operate GE X-ray rooms, fluoroscopy units, and OEC C-Arms
Work alongside a 24/7 radiologist team to ensure accurate diagnoses
Collaborate with supervisors and lead techs to maintain efficient workflow
Adapt to a fast-paced environment handling 80-100 studies daily

Qualifications

Current ARRT RT (R) certification required
Active Washington state license in hand at time of submission
BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
Must have OR experience (must be clearly stated on resume)
Own lead markers are a must
IV starting skills are a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and OR procedures
Comfortable with portables and ED imaging
EPIC EMR and SECTRA PACS experience preferred
Experience with GE equipment and OEC C-Arms
Knowledge of 45-minute response time for call shifts
