Location: Omaha, NE

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neurological, and renal conditions.
Monitor and titrate intravenous drips including Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced PCU environment.
Perform continuous EEG monitoring and assess patient responses.
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state.
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Minimum 1 year of PCU experience preferred.
Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of cardiac and neurological conditions.
Proficiency in titrating intravenous medications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
